Fellowship Community Church , formerly The First Baptist Church of Truckee has been Gloriously preaching the Gospel in Truckee, Ca for over 45 Years. Our ministry began upstairs of an exisiting business in down town Truckee. We were given the oppurtunity to move to our own property and were blessed to be able to procure five acres of land on Deerfield Dr where our present building was built. The Church has had many capable Pastors over the years. Our present pastor ,Loren Morrill and his wife Jane came to us in 2003 at which time there was just about thirteen in membership. We have now grown to exceed that number many fold. In 2010 we changed our name to Fellowship Community Church of Truckee feeling that the name better describes who we are; a community Church with ministries that reach into the heart of Truckee. In 2010 we began a new ministry; In His care Pre-School, the only christian preschool in the Truckee area! In His care preschool's commitment is to teach children about our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ.

The desire of Fellowship Community Church of Truckee is to be the spiritual hospital for the hurting and to reach all people with the message of God's unconditional Love and we do so by the various ministries. We are an SBC Church.

Expository Bible Preaching – Our main emphasis of the FCC church is the preaching of the word of God in the power of the Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16-4:2). The pastor must strive to be thoroughly biblical. He must avoid the temptation of misusing Scripture to support a man-centered or culturally relevant message. The biblical text should be preached exegetically in its historical and grammatical context, giving application for today’s world. The pulpit is indispensable to the church’s growth in knowledge, holiness, and love. It cannot and should not be replaced or diminished.

Biblical Worship – The music department strives to lead the church family to glorify God and to edify one another through singing and musical instruments, ministering with spiritual passion and doctrinal integrity, while maintaining high standards of musical excellence. The worship is to reinforce the faith through song and to express congregational praise and worship to Christ, our Audience. We are sovereign grace in doctrine, Baptist in polity, and charismatic in worship.
